The home page of the Alberta Regional Group of Conservators!

We are a group of conservators and other interested individuals who promote conservation in Alberta. ARG! is affiliated with the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property and participates as a Museums Alberta Special Interest Group. The first meeting of Conservators in Alberta (CIA) took place in October 1979, in Stettler, during an Alberta Museums Association conference. Our founding members were Lisa Mibach, Ann Lambert and Gail Niinimaa.

2005/2006 membership fee in ARG! is $10. Meetings are hosted by members on a volunteer basis at least three times a year, preferably in connection with a workshop, new exhibit or potluck.
