Krystal Cabico, Emerging Conservator Award Recipient 2025

Krystal Cabico is an emerging conservator with a Bachelors of Technology from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) completing a thesis on print embellishments. As an artist with a love for science and art history, she entered the conservation field through Fleming College’s Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management program, graduating in 2024. After completing an internship at the Archives of Ontario, she was brought back to the Archives in the summer of 2024 as an assistant conservator. She is looking forward to where her career goes, new experiences as an emerging conservator, and what her future awaits!
