Robin Canham, Emerging Conservator Award Recipient 2023
Robin Canham graduated from the Queen’s University Master of Art Conservation program (MAC 2022), specializing in paper conservation. During her study at Queen’s she was the recipient of a Canada Graduate Scholarship for her research project on nanocellulose. She also holds a Master of Information Studies, focused in Library Studies, from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Regina. Robin interned at the Queen’s University Archives and the Provincial Archives of Alberta and is currently the Samuel H. Kress Conservation Fellow at Queen’s University Library, W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections. In addition to having already published several peer reviewed works, she has been an active volunteer with the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG) since 2005 and is a current national board member.
