How to get to central Ottawa/Gatineau
From Ottawa International Airport:
Take Line 4 of the O-Train from Airport station to South Keys station. Transfer to Line 2 and ride to Bayview station. Transfer to Line 3, which has stops along the entirety of downtown Ottawa.
From Ottawa Train Station:
Take Line 1 of the O-Train from Tremblay station to downtown Ottawa.
Please use the OC Transpo or the Société de transport de l’Outaouais trip planner to reach destinations off the O-train lines. Both Ottawa and Gatineau’s paratransit services provide transportation for eligible users.
Walking/biking to the Canadian Museum of History from downtown Ottawa:
The Alexandra, Portage, and Chaudière Bridges connect to Laurier Street, and the scenic Voyageurs Pathway. If biking, racks are available on the Museum Plaza and close to the Panorama Café terrace.
Parking at the Canadian Museum of History:
Underground parking is available at the museum at a rate of $18 per day. This parking does not have in/out privileges. There are numerous municipal lots around the museum, at a similar rate. Street parking in Gatineau is limited to 2 hours maximum between 7am and 5pm and is charged at a rate of $4 per hour.
