Emily White, Emerging Conservator Award Recipient 2020

Emily graduated from the Queen’s University Master of Art Conservation program (MAC 2019), specializing in the treatment of works on paper. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto (2015) where she majored in Art & Art History and French Studies, and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma from Sheridan College (2015) where she studied Art & Art History. Following her undergraduate studies, Emily was first introduced to conservation practice at Toronto Art Restoration Inc. in 2016. While at Queen’s she completed curriculum internships at the Provincial Archives of Alberta and the Canadian Museum of History. Since graduating from the MAC program, Emily has completed a contract at the Provincial Archives of Alberta, and she recently joined the CAC Emerging Conservators Committee as Co-Lead of the Mentorship Program.
